TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Organiser
The Piggy Bank Competition is organised by Nouvobanq as part of its 35th Anniversary celebrations.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to all Creche and Primary students in Seychelles.
3. Competition Period
The competition opens on Monday 16th February 2026.
All entries must be submitted by Tuesday 16th June 2026 at 4.30pm.
Late entries, incomplete, or damaged will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
Participants must design and decorate a piggy bank using creative and original ideas.
The piggy bank must align with the theme of saving, financial awareness, or Nouvobanq’s 35th Anniversary.
Entries must be submitted [physical submission / photo submission – specify method and location].
Each participant may submit one (1) entry only.
5. Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by Nouvobanq based on:
Creativity and originality.
Amount of money
Relevance to the theme.
Overall presentation and effort.
The judges’ decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. Prizes
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
Crèche Category
1st Prize: SCR 2,000
2nd Prize: SCR 1,500
3rd Prize: SCR 1,000
Primary Category
1st Prize: SCR 2,000
2nd Prize: SCR 1,500
3rd Prize: SCR 1,000
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
Nouvobanq reserves the right to substitute prizes with alternatives of equal value if necessary.
7. Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced on Nouvobanq’s official communication channels.
Winners may be required to attend a prize-giving ceremony or media engagement.
8. Use of Entries
By entering the competition, participants (or parents/guardians where applicable) grant Nouvobanq a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:
Photograph, display, and use the piggy bank designs.
Publish names, photos, and entries for promotional and marketing purposes related to the 35th Anniversary.
No additional compensation shall be payable for such use.
9. Data Protection
Personal information collected for the purpose of this Competition shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Seychelles.
Information will be used solely for administration, communication, and promotional purposes relating to the Competition.
10. Disqualification
Nouvobanq reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
Submits plagiarised or fraudulent entries;
Breaches these Terms and Conditions;
Engages in misconduct or misrepresentation.
Disqualified participants shall forfeit any entitlement to prizes.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nouvobanq shall not be liable for:
Loss, damage, or delay of entries;
Technical failures;
Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Competition or use of prizes, except where caused by the Bank’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
12. General
Nouvobanq reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice. Any amendments shall be communicated through official channels.
Participation implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Seychelles courts.
